Hathaway's of Stratford is a lovely and unique Queen Anne rental property that can accomodate large groups, family reunions, and church and corporate retreat groups. (We can even do weddings and event parties -different rates apply)

As far as vacation rentals go, what sets us apart is that even though we can accommodate 20 in actual beds, you can still find some time for privacy as overall, there are twenty-three rooms for your use. The house is yours alone for the length of your stay. We can easily handle large parties, with comfortable bedrooms for everyone. No need for sleeper sofas here, we currently have 9 bedrooms (including one wheelchair accessible) with brand new queen, full or twin sized mattresses. We even have an attic suite with its own bath, a queen bedroom with fireplace, and a bedroom with three twins. The suite also has games, books and puzzles that the kids or teens will love (if you can pry them away from the complimentary candy jars!). We'd actually have 10 bedrooms, but we had to put the ping pong table somewhere.You also have use of the entire first floor common (non-bedroom) areas, including our state of the art kitchen geared to a gourmet chef's talents, the fully furnished dining room, the lounge for watching the 31" tv or relaxing by the fire, and the welcoming family room with its comfortable couch, wing chairs, and large tv with DVD player. We also have plenty of bathrooms (8), so no one has to wait in line.

Did we mention there are four fireplaces? No other home in the North Country of New Hampshire can offer this much freedom and value with a rental, and that is why we are truly, your home away from home.
